SAMARPAN MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL celebrated World AIDS day in December 1St 2017 at Surat S.T. Bus Stand. The programme was celebrated in Bus station area and at on National Highway respectively. Uniqueness of the programme lies in its approach. Unlike conventional information dissemination on HIV-AIDS, mass oath was taken to eliminate AIDS from the world; AIDS was identified as a devil and an effigy of the devil was burnt. Professional experts and a sound number of eminent personalities of the district interacted with community and the progamme could earn positive response from the targeted participants.
This year the Organization conducted 9 capacity building programme for the women. After completing the programme, the project partners acquired knowledge about the group management, health and hygiene concept along with family planning and other female related subjects. Impact of the training was like is very positive and the participants are very happy about the programme and anticipating same types of pvogramme in corning days for other participants also. Community at large supported the programme expenses.
SAMARPAN MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL organized 6 special camps for school's children during the period 2015 & 2016. These special camps cantered on focused .consultation with community for better and gainful education. Objective was to motivate and grow interest for professional and higher education among rural/slum communities. The programme emphasized on girl child education as a means of empowerment. The organization conducted the programme covering the different slum area of Surat city. During the programme SAMARPAN MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL distribute (Free of Charge) Teaching 'Learning Material for SC/ ST & Other backward class students for their betterment and as a part of motivation for education.
The organization implemented the community health programme in different Talukas of Surat district of Gujarat. Main objective of the programme was to create awareness of preventive and curative disease of mother and child.

This year the organization organized "YUBAK SAPATH" to re-unite the youths and educated them about various social problems. The events, which were held in a week-long programme, including workshop for gender sensitization, equal right etc. More than 480 youths took part in the workshop followed by a colorful rally and an excellent competition. The organization held this programme simultaneously in four different places of Surat dist. These programmes highlighted on social evils such as addiction of drugs and wine and the authorities tried to bring home to the youths about different fatal diseases resulting from drug and alcoholic addiction. Various CDs and posters were shown to them for this purpose. After this awareness camp, about 240 youths took a vow to refrain from drugs and alcohol.
Every year SAMARPAN MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL conduct several numbers of medical camps in far-flung rural areas and urban slums to cater to health needs of the under-served populations. These camps are designed after a thorough assessment of the health needs of the potential beneficiaries and the existing health services in that particular area. Based on this, general or specialty camps are organized to provide preventive and curative services. As we know that there are a large number of Tribal community in Surat Dist al that, focus is also given for that area as well as the community at large.
